the year of 30
among the madness of work and tourneys and life in general that seems to escalate to ridiculous degrees this time of year, i made some time to give my good friend darius a little love on his big 3-0. i love that he's made a commitment to what he's calling "the year of 30", attending any 30th birthday party he's invited to (or at least making good efforts to attend). i thought it was the least i could do to support him in that cause by driving up to LA for a whirlwind cameo at his 30th bday celebration.

and then it was back to the madness, the very next day. ehh, it was fun while it lasted, as the pics will surely show! :)
